Beneath the broken surface lays "Nahash" and moves across all pieces. It´s the infamous snake who seduced Eva to eat the forbidden fruit.
Every painting represents seduction in its many different forms and shapes. The more the surface crumbles, the more the truth becomes visible.

Fragility.
Thought about my home country and its untouched nature when I experimented with Indian ink. Nature is forgiving and allows us to bend it to our will but at the same time its fragility is unforgiving and fights back when it is treated unethical.

"Medusa" 2013
Exhibit of AKT vernissage "Versteinertes". A fragment of Medusas garden wall, The gorgon sister gathered all her opponents who were turned into stone with her petrifying gaze. A closer look to the wall reveals the frightened faces of Medusas rivals in their moment of death.
